Every new GTA VI spot in downtown Miami, block by block

23 GTA VI installations are up between Brickell and Omni: giant VICE CITY letters, fake-brand billboards and tower wraps. Here's where each one is.

Every spot in this story that stays put. Tap a pin for the address, or open the full tracker.

On Sept. 22 there was one GTA VI sign in downtown Miami. A helicopter set it on the Kaseya Center roof, and that was the whole story.

As of Nov. 1, we count 23 things you can go look at between Brickell and Omni and out on Watson Island. 20 of the 23 first showed up since Oct. 18. The game launches Nov. 19, and more is on the way.

Here’s the list, block by block: the address, the date each one first got photographed, and what’s still not pinned down. It’s built from dated photos, public records and local reporting. When a location is our own read of a photo and not something published, we say so. The same list stays current on our Vice City IRL tracker.

The arena block: 601 Biscayne Blvd

This is where it started, and it’s still the densest block.

  • The roof sign. Pink-and-white “Welcome to Vice City” on the arena roof, installed Sept. 22 and first shown lit Oct. 1. Who approved it and what it cost.
  • The facade. The Biscayne side of the arena lit pink, with a black “Welcome to Vice City” panel under the big screen. Photographed Oct. 6 to 10 and still up in a video from Oct. 25.
  • The stair wall. A black wall with the same script, the VI logo and the Heat logo, beside an exterior staircase. Photographed Oct. 28. The caption doesn’t say which staircase.
  • The pole banners. Paired Heat x VI and “Welcome to Vice City” banners on the light poles along Biscayne in front of the arena, photographed by Oct. 10. A photo from Oct. 22 shows at least three more pairs on NE 8th St, running toward the bay.
  • The garage booths. Parking attendant booths wrapped pink and purple. First seen Oct. 21.
  • Inside the building. Burger Shot at sections 105, 120, 308 and 324, Cluckin’ Bell at section 325. You need an event ticket, and New Times says to check concessions event by event. The menu board in one Oct. 21 photo shows combos at $30.00 and $31.00.

Four fake-brand billboards across Biscayne

This is the block to slow down for.

Four Clear Channel boards stand on surface lots on the west side of Biscayne Blvd, roughly NE 6th to NE 8th St, right across from the arena. Each one has a panel number on its frame, and you can read all four in the published photos:

  • 004542: “Welcome to Vice City.” On the lot at 700-728 Biscayne, at NE 8th St. First seen Oct. 24.
  • 004540: Burger Shot, “Bleedin’ Tasty.” Same lot, facing Biscayne. First seen Oct. 25.
  • 004530: Juice Loose, “Keeping America on the move!” Same lot, at the southern end. First seen Oct. 24.
  • 004550: Macca & Friends, “Coming November 19 on Weazel.” A Chateau Group lot, most likely the one north of the Freedom Tower at 666 Biscayne. First seen Oct. 24.

At least one earlier report placed a Burger Shot ad in Wynwood. That’s most likely the one on the NW 26th St digital kiosks, which is a different thing. This board is panel 004540, and the skyline behind it is downtown.

The lot placement is our read of the photos, including a video @volvoshine shot on NE 8th St. Clear Channel has no public panel lookup. We think 004540 is the back of 004542, and 004550 is the location we’re least sure of.

The towers

Two banners sit inside the city’s GTA VI banner zone, bounded by NE 5th St, the Miami River, the bay and NE 2nd Ave:

  • YVE Hotel, 146 Biscayne Blvd. Two full-height artworks wrapping the corner of the building, Lucia on one face and Jason on the other. Crews were hanging it Oct. 19 and it was finished by Oct. 22, per Portal Viciados.
  • 50 Biscayne, 50 Biscayne Blvd. A long horizontal row of game art with the logo in the middle and “November 19, 2026” under it. First seen Oct. 22. The published caption only says Biscayne Blvd. We matched the tower by its painted base columns and the Cervera Real Estate office on the ground floor.

These have a clock on them. The ordinance caps banners at 56 consecutive days and everything has to be down by Dec. 31. If YVE’s 56 days started when it was finished, it comes down around Dec. 17. We haven’t seen a published start date, or a permit list naming the buildings.

Three more wraps went up north of that zone:

  • Ten Museum Park, 1040 Biscayne Blvd. A “Dix” lipstick wrap: red lips and “These are Dix lips,” for the fashion brand from the game. First seen Oct. 24.
  • Art Plaza, 58 NE 14th St. The cover-art grid, stories tall, with the logo and launch date. First photographed Oct. 29. The photo was shot from an elevated road, which fits a wrap aimed at the I-395 approach.
  • Next to Atlantis University, 1442 Biscayne Blvd. A “Welcome to Vice City” wrap you can see from the highway. A Reddit photo and a video @OfficialJoelF posted Oct. 30 both show the university’s lettering beside it. It looks like it hangs on the lower building in front, which nobody has named.

Bayfront Park and Bayside

A two-sided “BAYFRONT PARK” LED pylon near the Torch of Friendship cycles the GTA VI cover art and an ad for the Vice City Manatees, the game’s football team, with a QR code. First seen Oct. 26. The pylon isn’t on public maps, so we placed our pin from landmarks in the photos.

Next door, the Skyviews wheel at Bayside Marketplace, 401 Biscayne Blvd, is running purple and pink. A video from Oct. 24 shows it, and it looks the same in another from Oct. 25. Nobody has published who paid for it or whether it runs every night.

A few steps away, Bayside’s Pier 5 sign now reads Pier VI, with the VI logo at its base. It glows pink at night. First seen Oct. 30. The arch over the pier still says Pier 5, and @samchrme filmed flags flying there the same day, with a seal reading “Vice City” and “State of Leonida.”

Brickell

  • Metrorail pillars, The Underline. Guideway pillars wrapped in a purple, pink and orange gradient, around SW 7th and SW 8th St and heading toward Brickell station. Wrapping was under way Oct. 18. One photo shows at least eight wrapped pairs, with plates reading 573-N and 573-S. There’s no logo on them, so if you don’t know, you don’t know.
  • Urban Gym court, SW 1st Ave between SW 7th and SW 8th St. Fence banners with the VI logo and “Welcome to Vice City.” Public, and you can see them from the sidewalk. First seen Oct. 24.

Omni: the one you can drink

Vice City Bean, 1657 N Miami Ave. A real Miami coffee shop with a Rockstar partnership. The product is “Leonida,” a limited medium roast of Colombian and Ethiopian beans, per New Times. Reported Oct. 26. The counter also lists two GTA drinks, Vice City Libre and Leonida Matcha, in a Nov. 1 video from Erik With The Land.

Watson Island: the letters

The biggest new thing is across the water. Giant white block letters spelling VICE CITY stand on a scaffold frame with a black mesh fence around the base, on Watson Island along the MacArthur Causeway.

“VICE” was up Oct. 27. The full sign was up by Oct. 28, and night photos on gta.wiki show the letters lit.

Nobody has published the exact lot. The photos show the letters across a road and a guardrail, with the downtown skyline behind them. We found no statement from Rockstar and no local TV or newspaper story on it yet.

It’s roadside on a causeway. Don’t stop in traffic for a photo.

Also spotted downtown

These seven aren’t in the 23. The location or the link to Rockstar is thinner:

  • A Vice City jet ski at Bayside Marketplace, 401 Biscayne Blvd. White, pink and blue, parked on turf beside a restaurant terrace. @samchrme posted it Oct. 30, saying only “in Miami.” @ItsIsaacBeast names Bayside.
  • A pink and blue “Vice City” storefront at Tâm Tâm, 99 NW 1st St. gta.wiki names the restaurant. It isn’t only the outside: a Nov. 1 video from Erik With The Land shows a neon VI, a Sprunk sign and a GTA drink menu inside. We don’t know who paid for it.
  • A neon VI sign at Right Hand, 21 SE 2nd Ave. GTAVice.net places it there, with the Vice Beach Margarita, on Oct. 27. The tags on the photo mention several bars, so we’re less sure of this one.
  • The Miami HEAT Store at Kaseya Center. Selling the Vice City collection, per Portal Viciados on Oct. 16.
  • A neon “Vice City” sign at Mama Tried, 207 NE 1st St. It hangs under the bar’s sign in a Nov. 1 video from Erik With The Land, who says the bar seems to be collaborating. We haven’t seen that from the bar or Rockstar.
  • A custom Vice City neon inside Coyo Taco at Bayside, 401 Biscayne Blvd. A framed panel with the shop’s name and the script, seen through the window in the same video.
  • Miami DDA kiosks, SE 26th Rd, Brickell. Cycling GTA VI cover art and fake-brand ads. Photographed Oct. 21. The street name is printed on the kiosk, but we don’t have a cross street.

Just outside the core

Two more are up to the west, and neither counts in the 23:

  • Soleste Spring Gardens, 1005 Spring Garden Rd. A black “Welcome to Vice City” banner you can see from SR-836 near I-95. First seen Oct. 24.
  • A Vapid Sandking XT garage wrap, “Truck like a man.” gta.wiki calls it the 15th Street Parking Garage. We couldn’t confirm which garage. First seen Oct. 25.

Also new, outside downtown

  • The Dirty Rabbit, 151 NW 24th St. The flyer @iGrandTheftAuto posted billed a Vice City themed party in Wynwood for Oct. 30 and 31, until 3 a.m.
  • Mad Club, 55 NE 24th St. Billed for the same two nights in Wynwood, until 5 a.m., 21+. The post called both parties official. We haven’t seen that from Rockstar. Both are over.
  • Tripping Animals beers. Patriot, Pißwasser and No Mames Vice City Lager are on sale at the Doral taproom, per @gtasix_. @samchrme and @MrVicePolska photographed it. The brewery says select spots around Miami carry them too, but we haven’t found a list.

The ones that move

Don’t plan a trip around these.

  • RydeMe Toyota. The in-game ride-share livery with an LED roof sign, at Biscayne and NE 6th St on Oct. 23.
  • “I ♥ Vice City” buses. Big Bus double-deckers, first seen Oct. 16. The small print on one names the operator as Conway Tours, Inc. We haven’t verified whether they run the public tour route.
  • The themed car fleet. Real cars with Leonida plates, parked near Museum Park on Oct. 20 and outside the Ocean Plaza on Ocean Drive on Oct. 31.
  • The Vault boat. An LED billboard boat, passing NCL Terminal B at PortMiami on Oct. 20. By Nov. 1 its screens had switched to the pink Welcome to Vice City art.
  • The pink boat. A “Welcome to Vice City” center-console, photographed Oct. 24 and Oct. 27.

What we can’t confirm

  • Spotify’s “GTA VI: The Album” billboard at Miami Children’s Museum. Spotify’s ad, not Rockstar’s. Only a gta.wiki caption names the museum.
  • Merch stalls and a Heat trailer outside the arena. Photographed Oct. 10. We haven’t seen them since.

What’s coming

  • Nov. 18: A Night in Vice City, Heat vs. Bucks at Kaseya Center. Tickets are on sale.
  • PortMiami lights, signal cabinet wraps and transit ads. Miami-Dade’s Oct. 28 announcement confirms a $3.9 million package with Rockstar. It includes the $975,000 roof sign deal, which the county says goes to the public park at Dan Paul Plaza, and adds themed lighting at PortMiami and the airport, displays on the airport walkways, and wraps on selected traffic signal cabinets countywide. Rockstar also bought ad space on the county’s transit system. All of it needs county approval, and there are no install dates. We haven’t seen any of it up yet, so watch the signal boxes.
