- November 19, 2026 — global release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
- Before November 20, 2026 — buy or pre-order for the Vintage Vice City Pack, a neon-era in-game item set.
- PC — unannounced. Prior GTA titles reached PC well after console launch.
Rockstar wants the real Miami dressed as Vice City
Reporting on a marketing pitch sent to Miami-Dade County describes plans to transform county-owned locations into real-life Vice City installations — Miami International Airport, PortMiami, Metrorail stations, a Vice City radio lab downtown, and a Motor Fest exhibit at Tropical Park.
Nothing is formally approved. But the county has framed it publicly as a revenue opportunity, and if even part of it lands, Miami itself becomes a launch-week attraction.
If the county deal happens, the city stops being the inspiration for the map and starts being an extension of it.
